I m so pleased to bring you my first English paper-piecing pattern, The Cutting Garden Quilt. This quilt was inspired by my love of fussy-cutting and all things floral. I wanted the finished quilt to resemble a stylized bouquet of flowers: the patchwork equivalent of going out into your backyard in the middle of the summer and picking a beautiful bunch of flowers to brighten up you home. I also wanted to design am medallion style quilt that came together in small, bite sized sections, rather than continually adding fabrics around the center. Hopefully this method of piecing will keep you interested and motivated without becoming overwhelmed.
